Amanda is a seasoned family law attorney, with over ten years of experience handling divorce, custody and support cases in the Pittsburgh area.
She prides herself in her ability to gracefully guide her clients through one the most difficult times in their lives. It is Attorney Cook’s strong belief that the role of the family law attorney is to make the process easier and less costly for the client. To that end, she strongly encourages cooperation rather than court intervention, while remaining a strong advocate for her client. Of course, there are times when litigation is unavoidable. During those times, you will find that Attorney Cook is a zealous advocate for the rights of her clients.
In addition to her professional career, Amanda is the Secretary on the Board of the international non-profit, Street Medicine Institute. This organization facilitates and enhances the direct provision of health care to the street homeless where they live.
Attorney Cook is a 2001 graduate of Ohio University and a 2005 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law.
